Kelmarsh Hall Wedding Videography – Kristina & Andrew

Kristina & Andrew’s Kelmarsh Hall Wedding was one of our highlights of the year.

It was an epic wedding to say the least. Incredible venue, great people, perfect weather, and ended with spectacular fireworks. Kelmarsh Hall is a very special venue and one which we’ve loved capturing weddings at over the past few years. Kelmarsh Hall is a Grade I listed country house built in 1732 surrounded by Grade II* listed gardens.

Kristina & Andrew had their marriage ceremony in the Saloon. The room is resplendent with chandeliers, polished oak floorboards and stunning views across the ornamental lake. A perfect setting for a ceremony. Throughout key parts of the ceremony, Kristina & Andrew had one of their friends play white grand piano. We recorded the audio separately earlier in the day and later used this for the main film. A very personal touch for the film.

For the drinks reception we had so much to film. After the confetti the formal photos were taken. Photography on the day was by friend of the family John Roan. Guests were entertained by Lynden Blades, saxophonist in the Great Hall. And good friend of ours Jamie Doherty of Fine Entertainments was there to wow and amaze guests with his amazing magic.

The wedding breakfast and speeches took place in the magnificent Ballroom. Food and drink was provided by Portfolio Events. For those feeling a bit peckish later in the evening a popcorn machine was available for people to feast on. Evening entertainment was provided by the always superlative Big Bopper. The day was topped off with guests enjoying sparklers and an amazing fireworks display.

We loved filming the day and getting creative with the film editing. We’d love to be back at Kelmarsh Hall so if you’re planning your own wedding there then get in touch.

Here’s what Kristina & Andrew had to say about us…

“My husband & I highly recommend Neon Trifle film. A huge thank you to you guys for creating our epic wedding day film! It’s such a fantastic memory to look back on, and we are SO pleased we chose you to capture our day. You absolutely got it ‘spot on’ and have been a pleasure to work with from start to finish.

If I’m completely honest, at the start of wedding planning hiring a videographer wasn’t the top of my ‘essential supplier’ list, but I am so glad I took the advice from many wedding magazines and friends that this is one thing to not miss out on! Having our day captured in film was absolutely worth the money.

We chose Neon Trifle as we loved their style of filming – we definitely didn’t want a boring or a cheesy wedding film (which I think many tend to be!). Instead, our film is modern, fresh, arty, fun, natural and sincere when it needed to be. It captures so many beautiful moments, some that we missed ourselves on the big day and it’s so lovely to see it all put together as one. So many of our guests commented that they didn’t even realise they were being filmed which has made for beautifully natural footage – exactly how it should be.”
